Experienced runners and amateur weekend athletes took to the streets Thursday, August 19 for the fourth annual Hyde5. Congratulations to the hundreds of runners and walkers who participated in this year's event.

1st and 2nd place finishers in each age group may pick up their prizes at the church office.

The race began in front of St. Mary Church and took the runners through scenic Hyde Park. Immediately after the race was our Finish Line party which featured live music by The Whammies and a happy hour atmosphere with food and drinks.

Thanks to all our volunteers who worked so hard to make this year's event such a huge success. The Hyde5 could never happen without your tireless help.

Race Photos

You may have noticed a couple of guys in green shirts walking around taking pictures at this year's event. They are from Shattered Glass Photography. All told, they took over 1,500 pictures of the race and Finish Line party. Check out the photos…you may just find yourself in a few of them.

Finish Line Party

After the race, everyone returned to St. Mary's festival grounds for a great finish and to enjoy refreshments, food and music while waiting for the results. The Whammies played for the third year and while we enjoyed food from Samurai Sam's Teryaki Grill, Honey Baked Ham, Skyline, and more!
